Movie Updates

About two weeks ago I saw Thor with a group of friends.  I honestly don't know much about the Norse mythology, so the plot was tough to follow....almost to the point where it seemed as if there were no plot.  Also, character development was horrible.  At no point did you sympathize, despise, or relate to any of the characters because they were basically one dimensional.  The attraction between Thor and his earthly desire (what was here name???) seemed fake with no emotion behind it.  No romance, no chemistry. Also, this movie was definitely made to be seen in 3D.  All of the crazy colors and objects flying at the camera was a little too much if you weren't watching with 3D glasses.  Even if I were, I think it would have been too much.  Overall, Thor was a forgettable movie, but I wasn't expect much anyway.  Just don't waste your money.

A few days after Thor, I saw Something Borrowed with the girls.  It was such a cute, funny movie.  I highly recommend this movie for a girls night.  My favorite part is when the best friends dance to Push It.  lol.  They do such a funny dance.  One bad part about the movie was the costumes.  So ugly and not flattering for the characters.  Besides that, the acting was awesome, the men are cute, and the plot will keep you on your feet.  This is a must see movie!
