On Thursday Josh and I went to The Monster Ball, which is Lady Gaga's concert. It was an amazing concert, the best concert I have ever been to. She really knows how to get her audience pumped up and inspire her fans. Also, throughout the concert she took time to communicate with her audience. She put on a hat and a vest that some of her fans threw onto the stage and she took time to read posters that her fans were holding up. Additionally, she sang happy birthday to some one in the audience who had a poster that said it was his birthday. And before she sang "Telephone," she called someone in the audience on her cell and asked them to join her backstage after the show!!!! I was so jealous! hahaha.
The best part about the show was her singing! She has an amazing voice in concert and she sings well while she dances!! She is so talented! It is really hard to describe the show, but I recommend everyone to go see her!!! You will not be let down! Here are some pictures I took at the concert:

Long Time No Post!
I have not written in quite some time due to work, graduate school applications, birthday celebrations, and my tv addiction (which is not as strong as it used to be because I'm ALWAYS at work...LITERALLY). The past few weeks have flown by, and since I do not remember everything that I probably wanted to write about, here are a few snipets of some enjoyable moments I expereinced during the chaos.
Proposal Writing and Managing Course Training:
For four days, nine hours per day, I got to go to training for work. The wonderful thing about training is that it isn't at the office. It was at this really nice hotel that was only 10 MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE. However, it started at 8 a.m. every morning, so I still had to wake up early. I found the course very interesting and inspiring, especially since we got to work in teams and get to know people from other companies. But the BEST part about the training was the food. We got free breakfast and lunch. For breakfast we had an assortment of breakfast pastries and fruit. It was generally the same everyday. For lunch we always had a different meal. The first day we had kabobs, the second day we had mexican, the third day we had lasagna, and the last day we had roast beef. Each meal came with a side a vegetables, salad, or mashed potatoes. It was amazing! And since it was buffet style, it was UNLIMITED. I gourged like food was going out of style. Also, we got dessert after lunch. Dessert always consisted of cookies, brownies, mini cheesecakes, and pastries. I definitely miss training : (
Valentine's Day
Unfortunately, I had to work until 6:30 p.m. on the holy day of love and lust, but when I did get off from work, I went to Josh's house for a lovely dinner. Josh made veal parmigiana, pasta, and vegetables, and I prepared the salad...lol....I cannot cook! He bought a huge platter of cupcakes as well. We ate dinner with another couple with whom we have been friends for quite some time. In addition, we had 3 different bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne. It was an amazing dinner!
Josh's Birthday
Thursday was Josh's birthday. We went to a Japanese Steakhouse for dinner with a bunch of friends. On Saturday we went out to D.C. to celebrate again. We went to a bar called Redline. It was a pretty cool bar with amazing food!!!! Like whoa! Each of the booths had two taps for beer as well. Which was pretty cool because you didn't have to keep asking the waiter/waitress to fill up your glass. All you had to do was reach over to the lever, pull, and pour your own beer! I don't even drink beer and I found it cool. I definitely think I might have a birthday party there this year!
